Fragipanis Make Your Nose Happy! - Dec 04, 2025
Dear gardening friends
Great news for Frangipani lovers!!! We've just unloaded our new season Frangipani plants. We have 25 varieties to choose from. The colour choice is amazing.
These super fragrant flowering trees can be grown in big pots or gardens in sunny warm spots. They flower through summer and they make your garden smile.
95% of your selection are just $24.99. We have the rare red varieties too like "Black Jack" and "Darwin Blood". We have "Darwin Blues" which always gets the collectors excited.
We have potted some up into 200mm pots using Tim's Best Potting mix. These always grow faster and they cost $39.99. We have kept the prices lower this year.
Don't delay, the best varieties always sell out fast. They make great Christmas Gifts.

I often get asked, can I grow a Crepe Myrtle in a pot? Well a friend of mine has bred a dwarf variety called "Little Audrey" and it's perfect for pots or small gardens.
It only grows 1m x 1m and it has Hot Pink flowers all summer long. It grows best in a sunny position and it has smaller leaves than common Crepe Myrtles.
Crepe Myrtle "Little Audrey" was bred by Mal Morgan, "right here in Macarthur, at Cobbity University." Apparently it came top of the class and that's why Mal chose it.
Crepe Myrtle "Little Audrey" is very hard to find in nurseries. We've bought them from Victoria, then potted them up, using Tim's Best Potting mix.
The transformation since repotting, has been spectacular, the plants have doubled in size and now they are ready for sale at $34.99.
If you're growing "Little Audrey" in a pot choose a big one. The potting mix holds the water so more potting mix means more water, which equates to more growth and more flowers. Gardening is simple.
Prune back by 50% in winter. This encourages more growth and more flowers in summer. "Little Audrey" gets beautiful autumn foliage before the leaves fall.
Crepe Myrtle "Little Audrey" could make the perfect Christmas Gift for friends and we are happy to gift wrap them for you for free. We have about 50 plants.
Brad and his daughter Jayda delivered us fresh cut Christmas Trees last week. They were much bigger. It all depends which part of the paddock the trees are growing in. The lower end gets more water because rain water runs down hill.
It's simple.
But as soon as I felt the weight of the first tree I knew they were going to be bigger. Our trees come from Wingello, it's a beautiful part of the world.
I visited the farm once and Rob took me into the town (it's one shop) to get a pie. There was no one in the shop, we took the pies with sauce and Rob wrote a message on the counter, "taken 4x pies Rob." It was a new experience for me.
I've noticed these guys are much happier than us and they work twice as hard. They turn up here and chuck trees off one handed, while I'm having palpitations. I ask them how the years been, it's always great. I try and get some nitty gritty on John, who has taken over from Rob, but they only say nice things about him.
That's it I'm moving to the country. Rob's going to be eating a lot of pies when I move in.
Fresh Cut Christmas trees are coming tomorrow, they are $89.99. Come and get one, we open at 8.30. This could be our last delivery.
We have amazing NSW Christmas Bush just in time for gift giving season. They are huge this year. Much bigger than previous years and still great value. Just $39.99.
We can gift wrap one for you for free.
We always sell out, so don't leave us till last.
Easy parking out front.
Some great news, our $50.00 Christmas Gift Cards are just $40.00. Give them to friends and family. Buy a couple for yourself. They are not redeemable until after Christmas Day. These are great value.
Happy gardening
Tim
