Turn Your Lawn Bright Green In 14 Days!!

Turn Your Lawn Bright Green In 14 Days!!

Dear Gardening
I noticed there was a bare garden across the road from the nursery and I was thinking how nice it would be to plant a special tree there that everyone could enjoy.

We had a super rare tree here at the nursery, a grafted hybrid tree (bred by Noel Ellis, crossing Brachychiton discolor with Brachychiton bidwillii) It’s called Brachychiton Noel’s Surprise.

I’d grafted a few from a tree growing in Camden’s Community Garden so I took one across the road and planted it. It’s grown into this amazing thick stemmed tree that’s covered in these spectacular pink flowers.

This is a native tree but it looks like a spring blossom tree from another country. But it’s actually a super hardy native tree which happens to get these spectacular flowers in spring. It’s my gift, this tree will still be here when I’ve become compost.

Check it out as you’re driving up Queen street. I’ve planted another one in a public place too but it hasn’t flowered yet. We will have to wait and see.

It’s time to fertilise your lawn after that amazing rain. We’ve got this amazing fertiliser that will turn your grass bright green in just 14 days. Tim’s Rapid Results Lawn food contains 21% Nitrogen, it wakes up your lawn. It contains a wetting agent so it washes into the soil.

The easy to carry 4kg bag will fertilise 260m2.
Throw it on by hand or use a fertiliser spreader, you can’t burn your lawn with this product. It’s safe for all types of grass including soft leaf Buffalo.

Our customers who use this fertiliser absolutely love it. It costs $29.99 or 2 for $59.00.
More rain is coming!!!!

Grow your own Bush Tucker!!!!
Riberry Fruit are one of the most delicious native fruits.

Just one tree, will provide you with kilos of home grown fruit every year. The fruit can be eaten fresh, or used to make Jam. They have a Cranberry flavour with a hint of cloves.

This rainforest tree can be grown in the ground or in a pot. It can be pruned to any size. If you’re growing it in a pot use our Tim’s Best Potting mix.

We’ve bought these Riberry plants from a Rainforest nursery in Byron Bay. The tree grows well here too.
There are lots growing around Campbelltown Stadium. Plants cost just $8.99.

Our potted Rose bushes are all coming into flower now so it’s a great time to choose your roses. You can choose the colours you love, and smell the flowers, to choose the most fragrant varieties. You can also look at the leaves and choose the most disease resistant plants.

But you must come soon, because the best varieties always sell out when they come into bloom and then rose season comes to an end for 2026.

We have so much colour in the nursery for this weekend. Lots of Salvias that will grow so easily and flower for so long. You will love these hardy plants.

Happy gardening
Tim
